The Mercedes-Benz, commonly known as the Mercedes, is an automobile manufacturer located in Stuttgart, Germany, producing luxury automobiles, buses, coaches, and trucks. Founded in 1881, by Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz, Mercedes automobiles are now sold worldwide.
The most popular Mercedes model is the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The E-Class ranks 1st out of 13 luxury large cars, as rated by Auto Press. The E-Class is not cheaply made after all, it features a myriad of new designs, on the inside and out. With its luxuriously-made interior and its attractive outer appearance, it's a favorite of many luxury large car shoppers. For those consumers concerned about the safety of the automobile, it has the usual safety gear and some. One of its newer features is the Attention Assist System, designed to automatically dim the high beam headlights, in order to avoid collision with oncoming cars. An auto critic from the New York Times writes, "I can't recall a price cut of this magnitude -nearly 9 percent- on any recent car, let alone one that's been fully redesigned." Another very popular Mercedes model is the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Being one of the best upscale midsize cars, as reviewed by Auto Press, it competes with the world's best entry level luxury sedans in every aspect. Being a sporty luxury car with good looks, it scores a high 8.8 in performance and a 9.9 in safety, as scored by U.S. News. Besides that, the Mercedes C-Class is the first automobile to be "designed and developed based on a digital prototype…Then it underwent 15 million road test miles." This is made obvious due to the fact that the C-Class offers a very smooth, comfortable ride, "like gliding." Also contributing to the quality of the ride is the C-Class's Agility Control function. This modifies the suspension and damping according to the nature of the road.
With many popular, highly-ranked and valued automobile models to select from, it's no wonder lots of consumers look into the Mercedes-Benz. The Mercedes-Benz is entirely "unlike any other." After all, it is "The Future of the Automobile."
