1964 Chevy Impala convertible purchased from in estate as a barn find in the warm dry climate of yakima Washington state 8 years ago (Has clear Washington state title). The car was in remarkable original condition, and 100% rust free. Everything on the car is original and in exceptional condition. The carpet, convertible top, convertible glass, seats, bumpers, trim, glass, mirrors, factory radio. The floor pans, trunk, quarter panels, frame and undercarriage are solid and rust free. I have the original rear fender skirts, antenna, trim moldings, 2 rear view mirrors, eye brows, carb cover, fan shroud. There are no missing parts. The original paint was sanded down to bare metal and every molding, badge, trim piece, bumpers and door panels stripped and cleaned. The body is lasor straight and then was primered and repainted. These pictures were taken after car was being repainted so all the trim pieces are not back on. The impala was then taken to a certified mechanic shown in pictures and engine received a complete tune-up, radiator flush, brakes, new gas tank, plugs, and wires, battery, piston, gaskets, fuel lines, new carb, a complete overhaul, now the 327 engine runs as it should with plenty of power, and the transmission shifts as it should. the chevy impala was painted factory satin silver. Note: The pictures shown have dust on the dash, seats and carpet from repaint and current auto repairs. They will show beautifully after the scheduled professional interior / exterior detail is complete. All the trim, and door panels will be replaced by the end of auction. The convertible top is in prestige condition, the padding and insulation is still in tact. We purchased through estate in which car was stored in dry climate for 29 years. You will not find a better original condition impala thats 100 % rust free that has not been restored. The trunk, floor pans, engine bay, on frame are 100 % solid. All mechanical operations of the vehicle were checked, the radio, interior lights still work as well as all blinkers and turn signals. We have all receipts on work done and there will be no disappointments. These cars are getting rare and harder to find. Included is new red interior, door panels, front seats, rear seats, kick panels, visors, red dash pad, new rear bumper chrome insert (the original is in good condition) I personally like the original black interior best but you have an option. Note: the impala is completely solid. The floor pans, trunk and frame ect. There's been no rust repair, welding or patch work repairs.
