The pictures tell most of the story, here is the rest: This is an ACCIDENT-FREE, SMOKE-FREE, PET-FREE TRADE-IN from our new car department. And no, we did NOT make a mistake - it has 7 speeds! Four of them are "regular" and 3 of them are "Overdrive" - check the plate on the center console shown in the photos. For a 1985 anything it sure has LOW MILES, the tires are great and..........the black paint simply sparkles. We don't normally sell cars of this vintage on our lot but send them to a wholesale auction for used car lots. This one we decided to keep for obvious reasons! That all being said, it's a shade-tree mechanic's dream in that it needs some maintenance and repairs that can be done - or not - while enjoying driving the car! These are the items I found doing the photos: First, typical of this vintage car - the cloth on the headliner has come loose and someone simply removed it - foam rubber left behind. JoAnn Fabrics had a sale on the material and I bought enough to fix it, included in the sale - an easy hour or so project. The hood release mechanism is loose under the dash - MIGHT require a new release or might just need screwed back in. There's some loose wiring hanging down on the left side of the dash that should be better secured. The clutch makes a strange sound the first couple of times it's released (cold) but the sound goes away very quickly. It needs a new plastic headlight switch knob. The driver's seat has a lot of wrinkles and the finish is missing to highlight them. A good interior guy could spray these to make them nearly disappear! Our technician who did an inspection found the following items separately from me doing the photos: #1 Clutch noise (cold) #2 Valve cover gaskets seeping #3 Power Steering leak #4 Rear wheel bearing noise #5 Differential seeping #6 Oil deposits (from leaking valve covers?) #7 Right rear e-brake disconnected #8 Rear brake job - pads @ 4mm and rotors WE SHIP WORLDWIDE!!!
