The 2004 is the best year for these if you ask any collector. Later years, especially 2006 and later, have very bad reputations – but that doesnt apply to the first 4 model years – through 2005. This thing is QUICK! Selling for my dad – he’s busy and asked me to handle this to make more room in the garage since a couple new bikes have joined the club. And with more on the way, unfortunately the Mini Cooper has to go since he doesnt have the time to drive it any more. It was sitting in the garage for months and wouldn't start so it's got a brand new battery, new starter, new alternator (turns out the alternator was seized up not allowing the starter to turn it over).Also since the old battery was dead the stereo said "disabled" (anti theft feature) and the dealership gave me a code to unlock it but it didnt work. I'm a professional installer so I decided to just put in a new aftermarket JVC head unit with a USB port and bluetooth, with hands free phone (microphone is wired to above the steering wheel). So that upgrade adds a lot of value. And with the premier speakers in this car, it sounds amazing! I’m available to meet and show the car at his place as I’m there at some point every day.
