It is RARE as only 18,186 CJ5's were built in 1967 !! This CJ5 still retains it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL - firewall mounted Jeep data / VIN plate and the - ORIGINAL - Jeep owner's manual, both of which are shown in pictures below. This is a NICE - DRY - Utah - Idaho High Mountain Desert - Western vehicle since brand new and it shows! I drove this Jeep as my daily driver for the last several days and it runs and drives VERY WELL !! It is a good driver in town and cruises down the road easily and smoothly. At the heart of this Jeep is what appears to be the STRONG !! - FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - OPTIONAL - 225 CID "Dauntless" V6 motor that is running VERY WELL. The motor also sports the ORIGINAL intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL valve covers, ORIGINAL Style Rochester carburetor and the ORIGINAL "Oil Bath" air cleaner housing, ETC... . Sounds GREAT too with the factory style exhaust system with chrome tip. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH !! - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Borg-Warner - "T14" - three speed manual transmission that also functions very well and feeds power to a BULLETPROOF Dana 18 transfer case, Dana 44 limited slip rear axle and a Dana 27 front axle with "Superwinch" manual locking front hubs !! The - BEAUTIFUL !! - Black bucket seat Jeep CJ5 interior is in VERY NICE condition including VERY NICE Black front bucket seats, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Steering wheel, VERY NICE Black carpeting, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Factory gauge cluster and a VERY NICE Black rear seat !! All of the black rubber weatherstripping is soft, supple & in GREAT condition. The Bronze Metallic exterior finish is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL !! showing a few small chips and imperfections that have been touched up but still looks GREAT as you can clearly see in the VIDEO & 100+ ADDITIONAL PICTURES NOTED BELOW !! This Jeep comes nicely equipped including factory power wipers, factory dual side view exterior mirrors, factory folding windshield, original rear view mirror, factory gauge clusters with 90 MPH speedometer, factory manual choke, removable top, working front and rear turn signal indicators, factory folding rear tailgate and a working factory heater. This CJ5 has GREAT looks and AWESOME 225 CID V6 power as well... what's not to LOVE ?! The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. Check out the AWESOME - Custom 15 inch steel wheels wrapped in NEARLY NEW Nexen all terrain steel belted radial tires, boy do they look OUTSTANDING on this Jeep & really help retain that CLEAN - "Custom" - look ! All of the ORIGINAL exterior body trim is in VERY NICE condition including NICE ORIGINAL Black front and rear bumpers and NICE ORIGINAL badging. All of the light lenses & reflectors are clear, bright and BEAUTIFUL ! This vehicle is in GREAT mechanical condition and it runs and drives well !! It is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression.
