2003 Porsche 996.2 C2 coupe. 37k miles. Clean Carfax. Title in hand. Purchased in May 2017 as the 3rd owner. (AutoCheck incorrectly shows 4 owners because the 1st owner moved from AL to FL and AutoCheck counts owners based on registrations. See Carfax below for correct ownership history.) I’ve had 10+ Porsche 911s over the past 20 years. My previous car was a 2015 991.1 coupe that I ordered new, barely drove (4k miles in 2.5 years), and then finally sold last year. I didn't plan on buying a replacement vehicle but my local BMW dealer traded in this 996 with super low miles so I jumped on it. The 2nd owner was an elderly couple that regularly serviced the car at the Porsche dealership. They owned the car for 9.5 years and added a total of 16k miles in that time. Since purchasing 12 months ago, I've spent over $9k updating the car including: -LNE IMS upgrade (RMS was replaced in 2015) -new clutch -new window regulators on both sides -Sport Techno wheels (used) -4 new Michelin PS2s (225 front, 295 rear) -Gundo hack (same concept as Porsche Sport Exhaust - PSE)-new ignition switch -new Homelink mirror (Audi/VW OEM mirror) -new Pioneer in-dash stereo with Bluetooth (have original OEM unit) -last oil change in May 2018 DME: As of June 2017, the number of ignitions in range 1 were 2067 and the number of ignitions in range 2 were 66. The current DME should be the same as I do not drive the car hard and do not track. CARFAX (see attached): Carfax confirms no accidents. The hood was repainted by prior owner due to rock chips. I used a paint meter to confirm that only the hood was painted. The rest of the car has original paint. CONDITION: -Overall in very good condition -Exterior paint shows a fair amount of light scratches to be expected for a car this age. -The underside of the passenger side rocker panel near the front has a decent sized scratch. I’m pretty sure it happened during my ownership. But I have no idea how it happened as I never hit anything and the front tire never ran over any large bumps. My best guess is someone ran one of the Costco flatbed carts into the side of the car. It’s not really noticeable if you’re standing but if you squat down, you can see the long scratch (see pic).-Windshield has a small chip that has been there for years (according to 2nd owner). I took it to a glass shop to have it repaired/replaced and they advised that there was no need…the chip wasn’t deep enough to spread. -Interior is pretty clean with a few marks on the center console -There is an impression in the driver seat that looks like someone sat for a long time with a large bulge in the right rear pocket. It looks smushed but the seat doesn’t feel any different once you’re sitting in it. -There is one small area on the front driver side quarter panel where the paint is peeling. It's about 1/2 inch wide and hasn't gotten any worse in the 12 months I've owned the car. (see pic) OPTIONS: The original MSRP was $72,295 so it was pretty basic. Options were Wheels Caps with Colored Crest, Black Top, Graphite Grey Standard Leather, Graphite Grey Floor Mat, Power Seat Package, and Xenon Headlamp Package.
