2006 Mini Cooper automatic convertible. It has about 214,000 miles. The motor runs just fine but the transmission will sometimes not shift into the higher gears (this just started this year after I took it out of storage). The top has a couple of repair spots, that do not leak. The air worked until the middle of last year but then stopped working (it is more than likely a fluid issue). The heater works just fine. When I got it February of 2015 it had about 206,000 miles I put new rotors and brakes on it. It does have a small rust issue along the top of the metal where it meets the convertible top, see photos. The top works just fine. I can’t get the remote on the key to unlock the trunk or doors. It does have a few scrapes and scuffs. The panel under the front bumper is pretty banged up or missing in places. I drove the car about 50-60 miles recently and the transmission worked just fine for about 40 miles and then would not upshift for about 5 miles and then started shifting just fine. It does have the CVT automatic transmission. The seats are in passable condition. The seat bottoms are starting to wear. Since I have had the car I have used Mobile 1 oil. The tires do need to be replaced, I have taken a picture of the left front which is the worst. The cruise control, radio and CD work just fine. The locking/latching mechanism for the glovebox is broken. The driver’s side door armrest won’t stay on the door. The driver's side parking light lens is missing. The cup holder is broken. It is drivable. This is pick-up only. Will help with the loading of the car. A $200 down payment is due at the end of the auction.
