We recently purchased this Super Deluxe from the previous local Idaho owner who is a collector and as you can tell in the pictures and video it was his pride and joy !! This Ford was recently driven on a tour from Ogden, Utah to Grangeville, Idaho and back - over 1,000 miles with ZERO issues !! It underwent an extensive restoration several years ago and is still holding up very well. It still retains it's correctly mounted - FACTORY ORIGINAL Ford firewall mounted data plate - ORIGINAL 1941 Ford Super Deluxe reference book and it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - Frame mounted VIN stamp, all of which are shown in several pictures. I drove this car for the last several weeks as my daily driver and I assure you it runs and drives VERY WELL !! It is a sweet driver in town and cruises down the freeway easily and smoothly. If you can make it to Boise please come take a look at and drive this BEAUTY for yourself, you won't be disappointed. This is a QUALITY PRE-WAR FORD THAT IS READY TO DRIVE, SHOW AND ENJOY !! At the heart of this BEAUTY is what appears to be the STRONG !! - ORIGINAL - REBUILT - 24 Stud - 221 CID Flathead V8 motor that is running very well. The motor also sports the ORIGINAL intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL Style carburetor, ORIGINAL 6-volt electrical system and the ORIGINAL "Oil Bath" air cleaner housing, etc. Sounds GREAT too with the THROATY factory style true dual exhaust system with correct dual stainless steel exhaust deflectors. The engine was completely rebuilt several years ago, however we do not have any documentation to prove it. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - Three Speed "Three-On-The-Tree" column shift manual transmission that also functions very well !! The - BEAUTIFUL - Tan and Beige Cloth Faux Wood Grain Accented Super Deluxe interior is in VERY NICE condition including a VERY NICE Beige Cloth front bench seat, NICE Matching Tan Cloth door panels, VERY NICE Tan carpets, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Ford steering wheel, VERY NICE Cream and Faux Wood Grain accented dash, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Factory gauge clusters, VERY NICE Beige Cloth rear bench seat, VERY NICE Tan Cloth headliner and NICE Tan Vinyl sun visors. All of the black rubber weatherstripping is soft, supple & in NEW condition. The - BEAUTIFUL - Navy Blue exterior finish is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL !! and is showing several small chips, scratches and imperfections that have been touched up but still looks GREAT as you can clearly see in the VIDEO & 100+ ADDITIONAL PICTURES !! This Super Deluxe comes nicely equipped including a WORKING factory heater and defroster, working horn, factory front wing windows, original AM radio which is no longer working, original style dual spotlights which are not working, dual spotlight mounted side view mirrors, factory gauge clusters with 100 MPH speedometer (temperature gauge is no longer working), factory manual throttle and choke pull-knobs, factory pop-up fresh air vent, factory power wipers and the original chrome rear view mirror. This Super Deluxe has STUNNING looks and AWESOME Flathead V8 power as well... what's not to like ?! The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. Check out the AWESOME - Factory Original - Ford stainless steel wheel covers and good - Period Correct - Firestone "Gum-Dipped" wide whitewall bias ply tires, they look OUTSTANDING on this Super Deluxe and really retains that CLEAN "Factory Original" look! All of the ORIGINAL Chrome and Stainless Steel exterior trim and moldings are in VERY NICE condition including VERY NICE Original badging, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Chrome Front and Rear Bumpers, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Chrome front and rear bumper guards and VERY NICE ORIGINAL Chrome front grill and headlight surrounds. The CLEAN - SOLID trunk sports a tan carpet liner and a full size bias ply spare tire mounted on an original steel wheel. All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are also clear, bright and BEAUTIFUL !! I looked underneath and also included photos below, again this has been a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Utah - Idaho High Mountain Desert - western vehicle and it shows !! In my opinion, you're not going to find much nicer ORIGINAL floors than the one's on this BEAUTY !!
