We acquired this RS when it was in the final stages of being put back together with knowledge the previous owner put an extensive amount of time and parts into the project. It appears many of the components; particularly the engine cases, swing arm, wheels have been media blasted and re-painted; the re-paint is definitely a home made job however it isn't terrible. The engine, transmission and final drive internals have been gone through and the forks, carburetors and wheels have seen an overhaul as well. The project was abandoned in 2014 which is a shame as it only needs to be reassembled. With that said we do not have certainty if all the parts needed for full assembly are present and best for the next owner to factor the need for a few items during assembly. All parts photographed including the loose items on the rack will be included with the purchase. This is a real nice opportunity for the person who has the time for a project and perhaps very little needed to get it moving down the road.
