Vehicle Detail

For sale by owner "as is" used 2000 Volvo S70 GLT/SE. This car is a workhorse -- will go and go and go, but it has cosmetic "issues" as shown in the photos and described below in detail. The car may be viewed in Midtown Atlanta prior to placing bids (if you are the winning bidder but did not view the car prior to bidding or otherwise, let the bidder beware). This car has 190,000 miles and will keep going with your TLC. A great car for getting Point A to Point B. The good parts:-- Solid engine with routine maintenance history, regular oil changes, minor repairs and upgrades as needed.-- Recent oil change, brakes, new-ish tires, and fuel pump replacement-- Other maintenance history available by request-- Starts and runs great; good gas mileage on highway; cold air conditioning and hot heater and defrost-- Sunroof, power windows, power steering, power seats-- Amazing Dolby sound system, speakers, CD and cassette player-- Local Atlanta service shop will answer questions on recent maintenance history-- Smooth start and idle in stop and go traffic The rough edges:-- At least one of the radiator mounts is broken, so the radiator is hanging crooked and needs to be remounted (shop says it does not need to be replaced just remounted)-- Car recently hit (at 70 mph) by a flying piece of rebar that dented the hood (as shown) and punctured the windshield (as shown)-- Front hood paint and sealant peeled off last year due to bird poop and rain that got under the sealant-- Driver's seat looks like a mouse went to town (as shown with and without seat cover)-- Underside of dash board has broken loose and needs to be remounted on both sides of the center console (as shown)-- A tree branch smashed in the passenger side front fender as shown-- Front hood latch/handle is loose and requires two persons to open the hood -- Coolant reservoir sensor is "stuck" submerged in the tank, so the "check coolant" light on the dashboard is always illuminated-- I inherited this car from my octogenarian dad who hit at least one curb -- hard "curb check" -- and drove over at least one farm mailbox, so there are several "whisky dings" of minor dents or wear and tear (as shown) to the bumpers and doors. Repair shop in Oklahoma did a lot of miracle work to restore steering and front-end after the curb-check, and the alignment and operation has been fine for at least four years of long distance highway driving from Oklahoma to Atlanta and Milwaukee to Atlanta. In other words, this car may be trusted on long distance or in town. This is a good car that endured a lot of drives (front wheel drive). It is not fancy but it is solid. I am pricing with opening bid based on Kelly Blue Book value minus the likely expenses of some of the obvious/listed cosmetic issues. This car is sold AS IS NO RETURNS. Winning bidder MUST COMPLETE PAYMENT OF DEPOSIT (or pay IN FULL) ONLINE VIA PAYPAL WITHIN 24 HOURS OF SALE. Winning bidder MUST PICK UP THE CAR on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8 OR SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9 during the hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST LOCAL PICKUP IN ATLANTA ONLY. If you have questions please email or message me to ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING! Thank you for bidding. I have nearly 19 years of veteran Ebay selling and buying experience and will "tell it like it is" with regards to this car and any questions posed. Good Volvo awaiting new home -- yours.
