This auction is for an 1968 Corvette convertible that is what I would call a survivor car. I bought this car about a month ago from the third owners estate, he had the car for over 35 years the son told me. Car was in Athens GA and has been there as long as he had owned car. The owners son told me his father had the car repainted back in the 90's the original Lemans blue but only outside of car no jams were painted. The car is all original except for the engine which was changed out by original owner after he blew up the original 327. I checked the codes on engine it a 1970 350 with solid lifters and sounds very good. The transmission, shifter, rear end are all original to car. I have the original hard top for car as well. This car has only 61,749 original miles showing on odometer and was sold to me as correct. As you can see in pictures paint is old and is driver quality, body has one small body repair on rear drivers side quarter panel but was very minor when it was repaired. I have the original red line spare tire and it has never been used. Now for terms of sale. Buyer agrees to send a $300 deposit and pay balance with in 10 days of close of auction. Buyer also agrees to arrange shipping and pick-up of vehicle. Car runs and drives very good and is very tight.2. Headlights work but are slow and both go up and will come down.3.Wiper door goes up and down but wipers are not working.4. All gauges work even the door ajar light comes on when door is not close5. Since I listed car I have cleaned spare tire and cover and reinstalled. Spare tire is the original and is red line and has never been on ground looks brand new with original date coded rim.
