1979 Honda CB750F Super Sport, 3461 miles. One of the two bikes I have up for auction at the moment. I purchased this bike from a gentleman in Pierre, South Dakota, who was a bit of a bike collector as well and who was the original owner. I know many people will attest to the quality of what ever they are trying to sell, but I mean it when I say it that this bike is stunning. Everything from the paint, pin-striping, factory stickers and info plates, and chrome is in fabulous condition. It has had a great home its entire life and I have the tools and books to go along with the bike as well. There is a very small dent on the side of the tank, but it is very hard to notice and you won’t see it unless you are explicitly looking for it. I can’t even see it in these pictures . The bike starts up, runs, and idles great, and I’ve never had an issue with the bike, only the routine maintenance items that should be performed when needed. Last year I took the bike out and had a full tune up, carb work, inspection, new tires, new chain, and brake inspection performed to bring the bike up to perfect working order. The bike runs out great and you can take it out of the garage and drive it down the highway at 70mph at the drop of a hat. I am selling this bike and my other Honda (purple 73 CB350) because I recently purchased two new later model bikes and just don’t have the space to store my old Hondas anymore. I am sure that this bike will only keep climbing in value if taken care of, and I would not be selling if I had more room (and time to ride!)
