This is a NO RESERVE auction for my 2003 Porsche Boxster S. This is a very well maintained and cared for car, with thousands of dollars in preventative maintenance completed in the past 18 months, including the LN Engineering IMS fix. I bought this car two years ago, poured money into it to be sure it was bullet proof and for a few tasteful upgrades, and have had a blast with it since. The Boxster S has been a dual use car for me, serving as both a fun street car and a very capable track day car. The only reason I am selling is that I have acquired both a race car and a street car, and simply don’t need a car that does both anymore.In the past 18 months (6,000 miles), the car has received OVER $8,000 worth of maintenance and upgrades. Nothing was broken when I bought the car; I simply wanted it to be perfect! I have kept meticulous records of everything and will provide those to the buyer:- - IMS upgrade & RMS replacement- - New complete Sachs Clutch Kit- - New drive shafts- - New water pump, RSS Underdrive pulley, & new shortened drive belt- - New short shift kit- - New ignition assembly- - OEM 18” Cayman S Wheels with new tires (More than 50% of tread remains)- - Complete stainless steel performance exhaust system with headers, test pipes, and muffler. This exhaust gives the car an amazing sound without being too loud, and there is no drone or unwanted noise. Please note that the exhaust does not have an O2 sensor, so the check engine light is on. I recently confirmed that the CEL is for this issue only – No other problems.- - All 4 stainless steel brake lines, cross-drilled rotors, and pads (only used on the street, 80%+ life remaining)- - Deep Sump Kit from Brey Krause- - GT3 brake ductsThis sale also includes all of the parts you need to make this car the perfect track day machine:- - Extra set of OEM 17” Boxster S wheels with Toyo R888 DOT Track Tires. These have only 2 track days on them since purchased new earlier this year.- - Brey Krause roll bar extension. This part quickly bolts on and off of the factory roll-bar to add clearance for your safety and to pass the “broomstick test” for taller drivers.- - Pagid Orange brake pads, front and rear. These have been used for 6 track days and have approximately 1/3 of their usable life remaining.The Midnight Blue paint was professionally detailed earlier this year and shines beautifully with only the imperfections that you would expect. The Navy Blue interior is in very good condition with no cracks or tears (some wear/fading on the shifter). The upgraded wheels, factory Litronic (xenon) headlights, and red calipers really set this car apart from other Boxsters on the road. Carfax shows no accidents in the car’s history, and I cannot find any evidence of paint work. The car does have 107k miles and is 13 years old, so don’t expect it to be brand new. It shows beautifully, and is in very good driver condition. I wouldn’t enter it in the Pebble Beach concourse, but I wouldn’t hesitate to take it on a date!This car is parked indoors, driven with care, and receives every bit of maintenance BEFORE it is due. You will not find a better cared for and bulletproof 986 or 986S out there, and you will spend thousands of dollars getting “bargain” Boxsters up to a condition anywhere near this one.
