This truck was certainly well maintained it's whole life, inside and out. There are one or two small door dings, but that's about it. There is absolutely no rust on the body of the Excursion, including the bottoms of the doors. These trucks are known for the rear rockers rusting out, and there are absolutely no issues with this particular Excursion. The oil pan is completely dry, and the entire undercarriage is very clean. The wheel are extremely clean as well with no corrosion. The matching Firestone Transforce tires are in very good condition all around.Interior: The interior is very clean as well. The dashboard, glass, seats, carpets, and headliner are all nice and clean. The steering wheel even is showing no signs of wear or tear. This is in WELL above average condition for a 2001 Excursion. There are absolutely no smoke smells, burns, or marks on the inside. All of the electronic equipment is functioning as it should.Mechanically: This Excursion runs, shifts, drives, and stops Absolutely Great! I have driven it over 400+ miles and love it. I drive it any chance I get. The 7.3L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel starts instantly with no smoke, and runs great. The transmission shifts super smooth. The 4-Wheel-Drive and Low Range work as they should. The front hubs are stiff to lock and unlock, but they work fine. The truck goes straight down the road with no shakes, rattles, or pulls.
