You can see from the underside, this car is a time capsule.1989 was the last year for the R107 chassis. These cars are very sought after because of the great workmanship that Mercedes Benz put into them. They are very solid reliable classics. The 5.6 liter V8 is very stout and has smooth power, 227 hp. The interior of this 560Sl is as new condition. All the electronics and lights function proper. The AC is still the R12 system, and blows cool, could need service to be ice cold. The car has always been stored inside in temperature-controlled environment. The service book shows stamped regular service all the way thorough the 30k service.
