Vehicle Detail

Offered for your consideration is this Fresh build 1962 Triumph TR6SS 650cc Pre Unit Desert Sled. I restored this bike a few years ago and only ride it a few times a year over the summer it is truly the nicest pre unit you will find Matching numbers bike. Factory records have this bike dispatched to the USA on October 2th 1962. It is being sold with a Transferable Registration from New York in my name. New York does not issue titles for bikes prior to 1973 Bike is register and insured and on the road. Mileage is unknown but just went through a complete rebuild. This was an excellent opportunity to restore a very rare motorcycle and I am so pleased with the result. This is truly a perfect bike. This 62 is the last year of the pre units and probably one of last ones made and shipped to the USA. Split the cases right down to the sludge trap did a very compete and proper rebuild rod bolts, pistons, morgo pump, valves, guides, springs, rings, bearings, push rods I replaced every tired stretched out bolt and nut. NO EXPENSE HAS BEEN SPARED. Not your typical rebuild I inspect and replace everything. Fresh paint, powder coat, seat, lights, gauges, rubbers, new rims, spoke kits, wrapped in period correct Dunlop Rubber, electronic ignition, one kick bike, turns heads, absolutely the finest you will find. New Amal Carb, fork rebuild , New brakes, new seat new cable new battery new everything!Does not have the original oil tank or side cover but you could easily source that. Only thing it need is a tach and spedo cable. I have not been able to find pre unit ones. Selling because I just don't ride it. I invested 2 years of my life and most of you know you could not build this for $15,000.00 to these standards. It is a one kick bike and it starts so easily that I have my 10 year old niece kick start it a few days ago. NOTHING HAS BEEN OVERLOOKED CALL ME WITH QUESTIONS I WILL ANSWER THEM ALL 516-639-359 3 There is $4000 alone in the engine build another $2000 in paint and powder coat. $3000 in parts another 50 hours @$100 per hour in the build I will give you an idea of what I put into each wheel. $125 rim $125 spoke kit $125 Dunlop $130 for the lacing $20 bearings $25 brake padls $22 tube $4 rim strip That is another $576 per wheel Total of $1152.00 Also there I originally Paid $3000 for this bike. it is simply the Best TR6 you will find. This bike is only right for a Select few that know what they are buying. My reserve is a steal I am only selling it because we are in the process of buying a home and could use the funds or else I would keep this for the rest of my life.
