In 1970 all of the early Broncos had drum brakes and a dana 30 front axles. In 1971 ford started installing the dana 44 front ends and in 1976 they added power disc brakes. This Bronco has the best of both worlds it has 1976 model running gear, dana 44 front axle, power disc brakes, power steering, front and rear sway bars, plus the classic steel cab that came on the 1970 model and earlier. The ford 9" also has a stronger housing in 1976. The axles are filled with 3:55 gears and posi trac units front and rear. This Bronco has been in the family for several years. The factory springs were replaced with Deaver soft ride springs, also we added vintage a/c. The transfer case shifter needs to be modified to go into 4 wheel drive. We never took it off road so that was not a priority. The paint is about 15 years old and is best described as driver quality. It has some flaws, sand marks, chips and scratches. The paint overall looks good, just don't expect show quality paint. The motor runs smooth and has the factory air cleaner set up. The tires have good tread but are several years old and probably should be replaced. The interior is real nice and the seat covers look to be original. This is a good driver, you will get complements where ever you go. Most people say "Nice Jeep" but to them it's a Jeep. This helps us with costs associated with title and bank paperwork and while it is a far cry from absorbing all the costs, it helps us keep the costs of our motorcycles low. Buyers will also be subject to a $195 dealer preparation fee. This fee goes to absorb the costs of oil changes, service work, professional details and photography. The last fee is a state required vehicle inventory tax. It is charged at a rate of .2384% of the selling price, which equates to $23.84 for every $10,000 of purchase price. Buyers will also be responsible for all state and local taxes and fees. TERMS: A $500 non-refundable partial payment is due immediately. Buyer must contact our office within 24 hours of auction close. The balance must be received within 7 business days via wire transfer, cash, or check. All checks are subject to 10 day hold.
