You are bidding on a very solid 1977 VW Beetle Convertible. This is a super beetle fuel injected 4 speed manual car Blue exterior with tan interior and tan roof. nice accident free body It has been owned , taken car of, and services by my friend (3rd owner) for the last 12 years. Over that time he mechanically restored the car. I have over $7,500 of documented of work completed on the car over this time to bring it to the start right up, drive anywhere running standard that it is in today. It has only had 3 owners over the last 39 years. It does need a paint job as shown. It has some surface rust spots and clear coat is peeling on top surfaces. Should ba a Easy run-around for any bodyshop or just enjoy as it is. Very solid floors and has current PA state safety and emission inspection. Just some highlights of its repair/service history (1) new convertible top installed in 2004 (2) new radio and speaker in 2003 (3) new tires battery in 2014 (4) The engine and clutch were professionally replaced with a remanufactured engine in 2014. less than 3k miles on them. Besides being a very inexpensive fun convertible classic car. These VW beetles are a good purchase as far as ascending value. Just look at any value guides history or current auction results. This one has all the expensive mechanical work done so the new owner will have the reassurance of the fresh power train and the paperwork to back it up. This car runs great and was just serviced so it is ready to drive anywhere.
