Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1964 Falcon Sprint that has not been on the road since 1970, the actual mileage is 45000. This little Falcon has a Cobra intake with 2 fours sitting on it that I believe was purchased over the counter in 65 or 66 and installed on the original 289 that still sits in the car today. The engine, T10 trans and posi rear are original to the car. As you can see it is in need of a total restoration including the two carbs on the intake they will need to be sent out and restored. I do still have the original intake and carb that is included with the car for this auction. The floors are in good shape except one spot on the driver side right next to the rocker that will need to be repaired but the rest of the floors and the frame rails are in good shape. The lower quarters will need to be replaced but the doors, hood and fenders are in excellent shape besides one spot on the passenger side fender will need to be repaired above the head light bezel. This car sat in the back of a pizza shop for over 40yrs before it was removed and seen its first daylight after the owner had passed away, I'm told that it was a fast little drop top back in the sixties. Any further questions call Joe at 302-753-1311 This Falcon Sprint has no warranty written or implied. A non-refundable $500.00 deposit is required within 24 hours after the auction ends. Any questions please contact me; Joe at (302) 753-1311. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time and for any reason. The vehicle is available for inspection prior to the auction ending and is encouraged, so you can actually see what you are bidding on. On Jun-03-16 at 11:21:55 PDT, seller added the following information: I believe that the engine is a 260 and not a 289 but it is the original motor with a October casting date on the engine block, heads and intake and this is a November car. The carburetors on the Cobra intake are dated as follows one is L4 and the other one is M5 and I did not see the date on the Cobra intake. This is a true convertible Sprint3 with a low reserve that does need restored so bid accordingly.
