1957 Corvette fuel injected project car, restoration started, an easy car to finish with tons of equity when completed. Includes valid title and original vin plate…VIN number E579102101…'57 project Vettes are few and far between, especially a fuelie. The car is mostly complete (in terms of parts) and I am estimating that 90% or more of the parts are present. The project includes the following: Engine, Drive Train and SuspensionRebuilt engine (block # 3731548, rebuilt transmission (# 3845122, 3737450), rebuilt '905 FI distributor, FI unit (serial number 1351), FI base plate (# 3741193), water pump, valve covers, upper and lower motor mounts, fan blade, radiator, radiator core support, engine mount cross brace, starter, clutch fork, clutch cross shaft, front cross member, drag link, 3rd arm and other steering components, brake drums, drive shaft, rear end, gas tank (in excellent condition), gas tank filler neck, gas tank straps, gas tank cover, slip yoke, master cylinder, hood catches and latches, wiper pulley and wiper transmissions plus other parts... Interior Recovered seats in red vinyl (will need a good cleaning due to sitting in shop), recovered dash pad (also needing a good cleaning), recovered upper door trim, new kick panels, door panels, both driver and passenger side seat frames, door sills (both long and short sections), all four of the small gauges, clock, tachometer, speedometer, Wonderbar radio, ash trays, heater assembly, air vent ducts, steering wheel, horn button, steering column, steering wheel hub, steering column bezel, speaker screens (all three screens), center console stainless, parking brake arm, cowl vent arm, brake and clutch pedal assembly, miscellaneous nuts and bolts and more... ExteriorConvertible top frame with front and back latches, grill oval, grill teeth, grill bar, wheels and tires, wheel covers, upper windshield stainless, both windshield posts, lower windshield stainless (brand new, however, dented), both door posts, cowl vent, gas tank filler door, bumpers (as shown) and stainless trim (as shown), left, center and right rear bumper brackets, license plate lights, taillights with new lenses, parking brake lights, pair of fuel injection scripts, antenna, convertible top latches (on deck lid), seat back stainless, headlight buckets, headlight cups, license bumperettes with brackets and chrome cross brace, window regulators, window channels, door star wheels, internal door parts, both horns, hardware plus other miscellaneous parts. TrunkSpare tire board, 1/2 moon spare tire holder, reproduction jack, trunk catch and latch, trunk and deck lid hinges. OtherSome of the missing items include windshield glass, window glass and frames, lower windshield frame channel…Note: the previous owner indicates the car is and always was a real FI '57. I do not have historical records to verify this, however. This project car has a lot of the expensive and hard work done, however, it is not 100% complete in terms of parts and includes only those items either pictured or mentioned above.
