The pictures tell most of the story, here is the rest: This is an ACCIDENT-FREE, NON-SMOKING, PET-FREE, ONE OWNER TRADE-IN with 10 PAGES OF SERVICE HISTORY from our shop. It has a few "bumps and bruises" as you might expect from a 16 year old car, (we've highlighted them) but nothing serious. It also has two areas with rust bubbles on the hood, also highlighted. That's it. It's just a plain good-looking, well-maintained nice car. Now for the "Bad news" about it: As we've seen many times on this model series with low mileage, the brake lines have rusted. We think it has to do with cars that aren't driven every day and sit in garages where the plastic clips holding the brake lines to the underneath of the car hold moisture and don't get dried out by being driven. It also has to do with the material used for the lines, a problem Honda appears to have corrected a long time ago. For our shop to replace all the lines under the car (the fuel lines too) is nearly $2,000. The people who have bought these in the past tell us they just splice in some new line where the rusted parts are and be done with it for a whole lot less. You choose!
