Over the last 18 months it has been beautifully restored mechanically and cosmetically. I acquired the Jeep this past fall from a friend that had started the restoration, but due to health issues was unable to complete. Therefore I purchased the Jeep from him and completed the restoration January 2016. The engine rebuild, suspension, breaks, seats, spray liner, tires and many other items where completed before I took the Jeep. In the last 6 months I’ve had it; I did a complete paint job, replace the mirrors, hood hardware, chrome grill, decals, installed the new winch, and replaced the clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing. I removed a Holly carburetor that was too big for engine and replace with a brand new 2 barrel Weber carburetor and fuel pump with a complete tune-up. The over sized Holly was pushing more gas than the engine could burn; this rich fuel burn was fouling out the plugs and killing the fuel economy. The action of changing out the carburetors made the engine run fantastic. From bumper to bumper I inspected this Jeep and repaired or replaced all that needed attention. These items included the heater, horn, lights, interior, and so on…. I know I probably forgot to mention the many little jobs to get this Jeep to its current excellent condition; however if you have any questions about anything please contact me.
