This week Canyon State Classic brings to market a once in a lifetime opportunity for any true Pontiac gear head or collector. This 1975 Pontiac Ventura Sprint is a 2 owner, 32,000mi car. Yes I said 100% original with the exception of one high quality repaint. This car was bought new at Pentel Pontiac in St. Louis, MN brand new but came out to California shortly after and is a beautifully solid and rust free example underneath. In 1975 just over 1,823 "Z17" coded SJ Pontiac Ventura coupes were built, and out of those 1,400 Sprint Option Groups were produced. These RARE cars are getting harder and harder to find especially with these low miles and all original gorgeous condition, with original documentation! This is certainly one of the nicest left in existence! The following is a list of options as this Ventura is currently equipped: - Factory Buick Sourced 350ci V8 Engine (Numbers Match!) - 2 Barrel Carburetor -"Turbo Hydra- Matic" Automatic Transmission -Power Steering -Power Disk Brakes -Kenwood AM/Fm Radio -Pontiac Rally Wheels -Beautiful White Interior -Etc..... The exterior on the car is in very good condition and is 100% solid, straight, and totally rust free. The car looks great and wears a fresh coat of Bimini Blue and looks absolutely stunning. The hood and deck graphics which would have been a sticker are now beautifully painted into the high dollar base/clear paint job. The chrome and stainless trim is original and in very good condition and were all professionally cleaned and detailed. All glass is crack and chip free (Original Windshield), and all of the rubber seals are excellent throughout. This car is a true time capsule, there is no other way to describe it. The white vinyl interior is 100% all original and looks great! The seats are in excellent shape with no rips or ware at all. The carpet, door panels, dash, and headliner are all in great shape and look excellent. All of the interior chrome and window trim are very nice with no pitting or rust. All of the gauges, turn signals work correctly. The steering wheel is also still in very good condition with no cracks. Mechanically, this Sprint runs great. The motor runs great and is all correct and numbers matching. The factory original 350ci V8 sounds great and really moves this sled! The motor runs very good and the trans shifts flawlessly. The car has always been well maintained and has the original build sheet documenting the car's birth. Oil change, belts, hoses, tune-up, and brakes were all done and checked when the car came out of a collection recently. The water pump and seals were just replaced. The car is tight as a drum and doesn't leak a drop of anything! A nice custom exhaust really sounds good dumping out of the 350! The engine compartment is all original and have never been freshened up other than what looks like the valve covers repainted. The fiberglass fan shroud is in great condition. The air intake snorkel hose is original and intact, and the hood pad looks fresh and clean. The car is riding on factory Pontiac rally wheels which were part of the Sprint package. It has like new BF Goodrich Radial TAs. They look really good on this car and fit excellent with the look of the car. The trunk compartment is very clean and original and looks awesome. The original jack, stand, and inflatable spare are all present. The very collectible thing about this car is that original build sheet, window sticker, owners manuals, and even the original dealership brochure!
