2008 Mongoose M2 Edition by Grubbs Motorsports It's finally time to find this beautiful 2008 Mustang "Mongoose" a new home. I purchased this car new in 2008 and my guys and I built it to show the quality of work we could do on late model and new cars. So, you aren't getting a cookie cutter production car but rather a hand built custom car that looks almost as new as it did when we finished it in early 2009. I can testify that this car has never been to a race track, and that is has never had even any minor damage, no wrecks period. The body is laser straight and the paint is slick and could pass for a show car paint job. 400 Hours build time to complete this car and it has continued its transformation through the years with many more upgrades. In 2011 I sold this car to my top fabricator here at the shop, he has taken premium car of it, never outside, always clean, and the maintenance has been completed by the book. With only 28,000 miles there has only been regular fluid changes. I am a Texas dealer, so if you buy in Texas I must transfer the title and you will have to pay TT&L on top of the sale price. Also, I will help load the car and or ship it worldwide only after I am paid in full by secure funds, wire transfer preferred but I am open to whatever. I reserve the right to end auction early. Michael 469-387-9796 Body:Full custom paint job with PPG basecoat/clearcoat, colorsanded and buffed to a slick finish. The side panels are Strete Scene and are bonded on, not taped, and after 7 years they are holding on tight with no separation. The front and rear bumpers are also Street Scene. The rear spoiler is a Shelby copy, the hood is a Tru Fiber that is slick. The hood has minor shrinkback which is normal for fiberglass and can only be seen inside under flourescent lighting. The front bumper has normal road wear as most cars do. Minor scrapes on the bottom because the car sits so low. Doesn't look bad, but I try to over state any flaws so you know exactly what you are buying. The billet side moldings are Grubbs Motorsports aluminum. The grills are Street Scene also and move the smoked factory fog lights inboard. The headlights are aftermarket HID lights and they are very bright. The tail lights are smoked originals. Overall I would put the paint at a 9 out of 10 it has been driven but is great for its age. Suspension:Eibach struts, lowering kit from Ford Racing, and larger sway bar kit all from Ford racing. UMI rear brackets on the rearend and tubular control arms. Edelbrock adjustable panhard bar. Drivetrain:JLT cold air kit with 110mm mass airflow kit, custom tuned by the legendary Mike Wilson. Brenspeed Detroit rocker cams that sound awesome and hit hard. BBK shorty headers, add on X pipe with stock cats, Pypes Violator mufflers. The car is not too loud when driving or idling but sounds awesome when you get on it. Hurst shifter. Aftermarket strut tower brace. Aluminum driveshaft by DSS. Ford racing 4.10 gears. 93 octane tune estimated to be around 420+horsepower. Joe Gibbs oil. Brakes are stock and work perfect. The car gets 16.5 mpg in town and 20 mpg on the highway. Tires are excellent and are Nitto 555, they work great. Boss wheels staggered 20x10 and 20x8.5 with brushed Grubbs logo. Interior:The Mongoose package has the MII embroidered in the headrest. Polished custom sill plates with brushed Mongoose logo. Minor add on billet trim, very clean and sanitary. The seats are near perfect no tears, floormats are like new. Carpet perfect, headliner perfect. Shaker 500 stock stereo, sounds great. Sirius XM radio is in the car and is currently hooked up. The trunk is perfect, factory carpeting in great shape. Everything works as it should on this car, no exceptions. Please ask questions about the car before bidding, also please have all financing and or funding approved so that the auction is legit and complete at the end of the sale. You will not find a cleaner car or a more unique car, I promise you won't see yourself at the local car show.
