2003 Lincoln Town Car Cartier L Rare One Year Only Facelifted Town Car Cartier Long Wheelbase - Bi-Xenons, Alpine Audio & More Never A Hire Car - GE Company Executive Car & My Personal Car For The Last 18 Months Fresh Full Service and Detail, All New Air Conditioning System, Front Brake Pads & Rotors Please Wait For All Photos To Load! Offered for your consideration is not just another Lincoln Town Car but the only year for a facelifted Cartier, let alone a long wheelbase with just about every option except a sunroof. I bought this car at auction about a year and a half ago after its one and only owner turned it back into their fleet lease service. It had been a high level executive car for GE Capital and never used as a professional car. The GE fleet fuel card is still in the owners manual packet! I bought the car for a client who reneged and this didn't bother me in the slightest, as I thoroughly enjoyed driving it. In fact, I put 20,000 miles on it over that time as my personal car. I am a collector automobile dealer, but one can only drive old stuff for fun... you have to have a "real" car as well! As it happens, however, I have a whole bunch of those as well as old car inventory, so I thought it would be good to move this along to its next home. When I first got the car, the air conditioning was not performing well. The car evidenced a new compressor but nothing else. I changed the orifice tube and recharged the system, hoping for the best. Unfortunately, it did not hold long and I ended up changing everything, assuming that both condenser and evaporator were full of trash from a compressor failure (they were). The car got a completely new A/C system at the beginning of this summer and has been perfect since. Less than 500 miles ago, I did a full service - air and fuel filters, oil and filter, transmission fluid and filter, tire rotation and much else. The Michelin Defenders were brand new when I bought the car and are not even at half life yet. I replaced the front brake pads and rotors about the same time of the A/C overhaul as the front discs were slightly warped. I also replaced the water pump last December as it was leaking slightly. The car is now ready to go without any attention for thousands of miles and without worry. Neither the engine or the transmission leak or burn oil or fluids of any kind. As this car was never abused and was likely always garaged, it remains straight and solid with no evidence of body or paint work. I just had my detailer go over it and it looks spectacular, in fact, even better in person! The final generation Town Cars are becoming harder to find in any condition, let alone a long wheelbase Cartier in black! Sleek and elegant from every angle! As this has been my personal car for well over a year, I have always seen to that it is in top shape for long highway trips. It never fails to do exactly what I expect of it. If you've been looking for an elegant sedan for personal use or business, you'd be hard pressed to find a cleaner or more well-maintained example. Taking a look inside, the Cartier leather interior was the most deluxe of any Town Car for 2003. I took many of these photos inside the workshop as the sun was very bright the other day! The dashboard is not faded or cracked, there are very few flaws in the interior at all; like the exterior, its condition belies its age. This Cartier features the premium Alpine sound system with trunk-mounted 6 disc changer, it all works flawlessly. There's even the remnants of the factory Motorola phone installation in the center armrest, though I don't think it's 4G! Front doorpanels are without issue. The front interior is very tidy throughout. The rear interior is likewise nearly spotless. Both front and rear have these neat flip-out cupholders. The rear armrest features dual power ports as well as climate and radio controls and a front passenger seat switch for even more legroom! I am unaware of a car made today that offers this level of luxury to a rear seat passenger! From every perspective, the interior of this Cartier L is magnificent. The spacious trunk is not the "six body" trunk of the 1970s but is still quite commodious! CD changer works perfectly and comes with one magazine. All the original books are with the car, even a CD ROM! All four original chrome 17" alloys remain beautiful and without damage, the Michelins have tens of thousands of miles left as well. Mileage as of yesterday, may increase slightly during the listing. The original sticker inside the door jamb. Under the hood, everything is clean and evidences regular care. I just remembered that I also just changed one of the Bi-Xenon headlamp bulbs - $100+! Clean, dry and absolutely correct! Continue to maintain this exceptional car and you'll have a faithful friend for many years and hundreds of thousands of miles to come. Thinking of driving for Uber or Lyft? You can't go wrong with this beautiful Lincoln. payment/shipping While physically located in Augusta, GA, this automobile is being sold under the license of a Licensed Independent Used Car Dealership in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. There are many complications in dealing with the sale of used automobiles, even special interest and collector cars such as this phenomenal Lincoln Cartier L. Through my affiliation with International Motor Cars of Pittsburgh, Ltd. and my Salesman's license on file therein, I am privileged to be able to offer cars such as this to equally special buyers. At the time of purchase, I will arrange for you to and assist you with completing your paperwork with my friends Steve and Amanda in PA. Pennsylvania residents (apart from those in possession of a motor vehicle dealer license) will pay all applicable taxes and documentary fees and may be required to complete the transaction in person at International Motor Cars of Pittsburgh, Ltd, located at 5882 Kennedy Ave, Export, PA. Please understand that while it is an excellent example, this is a 12 year old car and is sold as-is, where-is with no implied or stated warranty or guarantee. Full payment is due within seven days of auction close unless discussed with me in advance of your bid. Accepted forms of payment include a cleared certified cheque or wire transfer in my or the dealership's bank account. Pennsylvania residents MUST pay sales tax to the dealership in addition to your purchase price just as you would to the tag office or any other automobile dealer. We require that paperwork be completed prior to pickup in any case; if you intend to drive the car away, you'll need to do this to get tags in any event. We do not charge tax to out of state (PA, not GA) buyers as this is something you handle at the DMV or, naturally, other dealers in all 50 states. Shipping or pickup must occur within fourteen days of auction close unless discussed with me in advance of your bid. While I encourage you to fly in and drive home to anywhere that there are roads, we are happy to refer you to one of the high-quality enclosed collector car shipping companies that I use frequently and we cannot stress enough the importance of using such a carrier and not a random open transport broker or carrier you might find online. For international buyers, I am happy to bring the car to the port of Savannah at a nominal charge, though shipping beyond the U.S. border must be arranged for and paid by you. Contact me if you need any assistance. We reserve the right to cancel all bids and end the auction early at any time during the course of the sale should a sale occur outside of eBay as the car has been offered quietly through other channels over the past month. I typically do not do this at all and only when full payment has been received will the auction be pulled. You may rest assured that if and when the reserve price is met, the auction will run to the end, period. Any legal action associated with this sale from either the buyer or the seller is to take place in the State of Pennsylvania in the Westmoreland County Courthouse. The bidder/buyer further agrees that any legal action will be heard in Westmoreland County in the State of Pennsylvania. All legal actions associated with this auction/sale will be governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania and buyer agrees to be responsible for all legal costs including, but not limited to, court costs, expenses, attorney fees, cost of process service, and all other costs associated with the normal course of business.
