This is a rare (final year of production) 1985 Mercedes Benz 280 CE (123 chassis). This is a California survivor that is 100% rust free with only 133,206 original miles.-The car is very crisp and clean and completely original-The car runs and drives extremely well. Very reliable and powerful twin cam 6 cylinder -Accelerates beautifully, very peppy!-The idle is superb-The transmission shifts on the mark-No leaks, smoke, overheating or strange noises-The brakes, steering and suspension are all in proper working order-All mechanical, electrical systems operate like they should-All of the windows go up and down like they should-The entire drivetrain is very solid and tightCosmetically she is in outstanding original condition.-100% rust free (body, chassis and frame) Amazing!!!!-The paint finish is all original with a lovely patina! There are nicks, chips, dings, fading and a small dent on drivers door/fender (see pics). The overall appearance is outstanding! -No accidents-Nice shiny original chrome/trim. -Nice stock Bundt wheelsThe interior is also in excellent condition!-The leather seats are soft and comfortable. -The dash does have some typical cracks (see pics).-The carpeting and door panels/headliner are in good original condition.
