This is a California survivor and is largely original.The frame is 100% rust free and the chassis is 98% rust free with a few small spots on the fender and rear quarter. (see pics).The car runs and drives well and the engine sounds amazing! The transmission shifts through the gears and the brakes work properly . We did not drive it very far so we cannot elaborate in depth about how the car behaves at high speeds, freeway driving, etc. The car obviously needs to be restored if you want perfection (excellent candidate) however with some minimal tlc it can be an everyday driver. Please note: The car needs a neutral safety switch and will start in any gear. -Trunk lock missing-Various dings, dents, chips, etc.-Dash is warped and cracked-Nice vintage staggered Cragar wheels-Rear window regulator needs attention-Excellent panel fit, hood needs to be better aligned and possibly some servicing on the hinges.-No accidents-New starter-New flywheel-Missing driver and passenger rocker trim. Driver side fender trim is in the truck (see pics). Overall this is a nice and solid original California Torino. It has the potential to be an amazing car! The structural integrity is A+.
