Vehicle Detail
1999 Nissan Quest SE, with just over 140,000 miles. Includes SE convenience package. Tires have lots of tread left. Has 2015 inspection and emissions sticker from Austin, Texas. I have owned for about 3 weeks. I bought it outside of Austin to transport some equipment from Texas to Columbia SC. I drove the 1200+ miles in two days with no problems. The air conditioning is ice cold, the alignment is good, the power windows, locks and seats all work. The radio works, I don't have any cassettes, but the cassette player has an attachment that allows you to play music from your phone or ipod. Basically, any feature I tried works. It has a VHS player in the center console which I think is aftermarket. The third row seat folds down and you can also take it out, although I have not tried that yet. There doesn't appear to be any leaking fluids. I just changed the oil (the previous owner has been using synthetic so I did as well). I also bought a new battery with a 2 year warranty. I still have the manual and the original sticker. I took a picture of it to show the features of this car. I got a little about 20 mpg mixing some highway, some city. I just added a few pictures of the interior. As you can see, the leather is worn most on the driver's seat and there is a tear right in the middle. The front passenger seat has some wear, but not as much as the driver's side. The 2 back rows of seats look very good, with no tears. There are some stains on the carpet. One thing I have noticed about Nissan/Infiniti is the interior parts are made very well. There are no broken door handles, cup holders or anything and no cracks on the dash. There are a couple small dents from rocks or other normal occurrences. The back corner on one side has some scratches on and around the tail light, like someone drove too close to some bushes or something. (See picture). I had some trouble getting pictures of this without reflections on them, but basically it looks very good from a distance and very respectable up close, although there are some scratches. The only spot where I could see a fair amount of clear coat coming off is in the back, just above the top of the hatchback. There are some white spots in places and some scratches. I didn't do any kind of waxing or detailing so it can probably look even better than it does. The leather seats have some wear, especially the front seats and the drivers seat has a large tear in it, as shown in the picture. The dash is in very good condition. I am selling it because I have a car and don't really need a minivan, but I drove it 100 miles a day last week to work and back and it has done great. There are no guarantees with used cars but if you are looking for something inexpensive that you can drive for a couple years without putting much money into it, this seems like a pretty good bet.
