A 1957 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer 2 Door Hard Top, VIN: 37261611 with 11,037 miles on Speedo [111,037?], California Black Plate KBD849. Engine: This 57 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer has a 325 Cu/In-260 H/P Poly-head V-8 Engine with a four-barrel Carter carburetor, This Dodge has an original push-button Torqueflite 3-speed automatic transmission with power brakes and steering. This Dodge ran when I purchased it twenty-five years ago (1990) and with no problum, we started the engine again today. This Dodge is one of the very few completely stock inside and out “fifty-eight year old” surviving unrestored 1957 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer 2 Door Hard Top! Equipped: with power brakes, power steering, factory heater and AM Radio. This car has been in, inside storage for over twenty-five years and is completely dry. Body: This Dodge is one of a very few completely stock “fifty-eight year old” surviving unrestored 1957 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer 2 Door Hard Top with very little surface rust. Most 1957 (58 years old Dodges) have rusted completely throughout but not this one (See pictures). There are some minor dents on the roofs, has hole in driver side front fender (see close-up picture), missing inspection plat in front driver side floor panel, has small rust through near inspection plate (see close-up picture), missing some s/s outside trim interior will need reupholstering.
