1995 RANGE ROVER COUNTY CLASSIC SHORT WHEEL BASE Excellent 95 Classic candidate to perform a restoration without breaking the bank. Or drive and enjoy it as it performs nicely. The best attribute of this west coast vehicle is the rust free chassis and body. Mechanically, this vehicle is in great condition! It has been driven several hundred miles over the last four months shaking out any bugs and addressing them. The radiator has been rod cleaned and runs nice and cool. The front differential, drive shaft and viscous coupling in the transfer case have all been replaced. There are NO LIGHTS ON THE DASH! Not ABS, not Check Engine, not even the troublesome SRS light. In the recent past the alternator was replaced with a rebuilt unit. And more importantly, the head gaskets were replaced with a valve job (head bolts still have the orientation marks). The exhaust was replaced with Magnaflow system with dual tailpipe. The tires are all matching with decent tread remaining. The problematic air suspension has been replaced with factory coil springs and upgraded Bilstein shocks. ALL the windows and power seats work.The 1995 comes with the beautifully designed and improved soft dash with SRS impact air bags and vastly superior HVAC system (only found on the 1995 Range Rover Classic). Truly a one of a kind Range Rover. This vehicle has had the headliner replaced. The vehicle has been used as the designers at Land Rover/Range Rover had intended as a 4x4 AWD sport utility vehicle with a high and low viscous transfer case. The A/C blows nice and cold. The paint has been resprayed and the hood is beginning to show signs of fading.. While overall in good condition, she is not immune to what would be considered normal used vehicle wear and tear, dings/dent/scratches. To recap, this is a straight, original, rot free, clean and comfortable Range Rover that I have driven several hundred miles without issues.
