2004 Ford Thunderbird Collector CarThese cars don't come up for sale very often and are certain to increase in value similar to the Ford GT and other low production cars from this era I am representing this car for one of my customers and will describe it as honestly as possible, as with any of our auctions feel free to come to the shop and look at it or setup and inspection so that you are confident in what you are purchasing. Any out of state or international payments will be made by wire transfer, no exceptions. This car is currently owned by its second owner and the car has been a West Texas car since new, if you aren't familiar with West Texas it is like a desert out there. No moisture at all which in turn makes this a very clean and totally rust free car. The body and paint are in great shape with only a couple of minor flaws in the paint that are smaller than a pencil tip. The paint is another feature of this car that makes it even more collectible, it has the factory deep Burgundy finish that looks like a custom Candy paint job in the sun. Very rich color combination with the deep metallic paint and tan and black interior. This car is unique to most cars in that it can be driven with 3 very distinct looks as you'll see in the pictures. You can drive it with the hardtop that is body color, you can remove it in a matter of minutes and store it on the rolling cart that comes with the car. When you do that you have the option of running with the tan colored soft top up or putting it down and going full convertible. All 3 looks are very nice and it gives you the ability to drive the car in any weather in style. The interior features premium Ford sound and all the amenities that you could get in 2004, CD, stereo, line in capability for your I tunes, power windows, power brakes, Air conditioning and heat work flawlessly, power seats, etc. The car is an automatic with overdrive and has a very smooth running 3.9L V8 that gets great mileage and will still get this thing moving when you want it to. Tires are like new and the car has just recently undergone a full checkout and oil change. We also just changed out all the coil packs and did a complete tune up, it wasn't due but after a couple of coil packs had gone out the customer had us replace them all so that they would last from now on. This is how this customer does all his repairs and maintenance, he doesn't do the minimum but rather the opposite and usually over does the work that needs to be done. No leaks, never stored outside and only driven in nice weather.
