Vehicle Detail

Drop-dead gorgeous Sept 1974 (1975) Porsche 911s Coupe: White w/ chrome trim, Navy blue interior w/ black details. Only 47,500 miles. Never raced or tampered with. A lady drives it on occasion in Palm Beach, having driving it around DC occasionally. This lilly white Porsche 911s is near flawless, ultra-babied, critical engine stud / AC conversions, and other "1975 issues" solved proactively.* This car was/is owned by a prominent DC family, whose owner today is a well known South Florida newscaster on television everyday : ) She drives the car gingerly and locally, and that's it. Trailor-transported, this gem of a collector's 911 has been kept amongst the family's other fine cars, cared for painstakingly by their best mechanics, and housed in proper garages by platinum collar Porsche benefactors. Yes, this Porsche 911s has only 47,500 original miles logged, which is amazing. There is little or no patina or paint chipping, zero sun damage, or any visible rubber wear. This old school, untouched, totally original 911 seems to have somehow been in a time warp –– sans the new MOMO Prototipo steering wheel and hub, which is hot. The dark Navy blue and black factory interior is stunning, and 100% original -- unheard of for a 1974/1975 911. The visor glue has collapsed a bit, yet the rest of the interior is near showroom. At speed, the gearbox is cherry and direct. The 2.7 is like new, sealant service in the distant future. The brakes or taunt, as well as how everything around the car works, opens, latches, closes, etc. We'd guess that $3000 to $4500 to $6000 would perfect this car mechanically for good, and allow exhaust or Fuchs wheel conversions. Yes, some 1974/1975 Porsche 911s experienced well known engine stud / AC / other mechanical problems. This 911 has a list of proactive work done via Brian at Classic Motors in Washington, DC to counter these issues (have a look at the engine photo as evidence of bespoke AC conversion work). * More exact technical details will augment / update this post within 24-36 hours, as we wait for a critical section of work / repair history to be double-checked off-site.
