Here's your chance at a real barn find, real 138 SS Chevelle. Factory 4 speed, factory red car. Still has the clutch pedal but changed over to automatic years ago. Has a great running 69 model 396. Car still has the 12 bolt rear end. Solid southern car. Great floors. Great frame. Needs patch panels in lower fenders, lower quarters, bottom of the doors needs a little work. Trunk pan needs a couple repairs. Trunk lid very good. Panel between trunk lid and rear glass very good. Body looks straight down the sides. Doors fit very good and open and shut very good. Carb has been cleaned and rebuilt. Electric fuel pump has been added at the rear. The brakes work but pull like drums do. Could be wheel cylinders or just adjustment? One guy asked could you drive it a 1000 miles? My answer is, I dont know. Maybe maybe not. Anything could go wrong with any car new or old. I have decided to reduce the reserve to $15500. If it doesnt sell I will redo it this winter.
