This is an all original two owner 1984 300 D Turbo Diesel 1984 is the second to last year in this body style and the best year mechanically because it wasn't equipped with a trap oxidizer to meet higher emission standards. Essentially, the trap oxidizer would self destruct sending all kinds of junk through the turbo. -The car has been in California since new as evidenced by both it's original "blue and yellow" license plates-The car starts right up and runs extremely well-Idle is as smooth as a Rolex and the 5 cylinder Diesel engine sounds amazing-The transmission shifts on the mark beautifully through all the gears-The brakes, steering and suspension are all solid and tight along with the entire drivetrain.-All mechanical, electrical and climate control systems are in good working order-Ice cold Air Conditioning-All windows and sunroof work flawlessly Cosmetically the car is stunning!-All original 100% rust free body, chassis and frame-All original beautiful paint finish-No accidents/One small dent on right front fender in near trim (see pic)-Superb chrome, trim, moldings, etc. The interior is gorgeous!-No foul odors-Non Smoker Car-Excellent seats, dash, door panels headliner.
