For Sale is our 1960 Cadillac Sedan DeVille 4 Door Hardtop. Let's start with the negatives about this Car first. The Engine Does NOT SMOKE but leaks some oil. Also the Transmission leaks. Not Extreme. But worth noting. Not sure why, I was told they needed the Pan Gaskets replaced . I have new Gaskets but have not installed them. 2nd--When I bought the Car it had been in dry storage for a long time but had a rust haze on the top, hood and trunk lid. We sanded and painted those areas to make it look better. The difference in paint can be noticed 9-10 feet or closer. It looks fine for a daily driver but you may want to repaint it, no rusted areas... 3rd-The Front seat Drivers side has wear. It is very usable but noted. 4th-The rear Carpet right floorboard area (carpet) is bad, I think it got wet and was not dried properly. I have clear plastic mats over all the carpet areas.The Rest of the Carpet is in good used condition..4th- The Headlights have the Electronic Dimmer system--Sometimes when you turn on the headlights they hesitate to come on but finally will . The Dash cap has 2 cracks but solid..5th-Last Summer the A/C was converted to R134 and operated fine - however- during last Winter it has lost the Freon charge. So it must have leaked.Now for the Positives:It Drives and Rides great-tight-solid & and true. Gets lots of attention.Mileage 23,300 original -<>-All original Wheel covers and Fender Skirts-<>-Electric Windows and front Seat-<>-All glass is in extra great condition.-<>-All Chrome is in extra great condition except 1 rear strip has a few dings-><-Interior all original in great shape except the carpet area I mentioned-<>-Headliner in great condition no stains-<>-Power Steering & Power Brakes work fine-<>-Brakes are excellent-Replaced Power Booster and Master Cylinder--Rebuilt all 4 Wheel Brake cylinders and adjusted-<>-The Rubber Door & Window Rubber seals & Trunk Gasket are all in great condition-><-Electric Radio Antenna Works -<>- Original Radio still works (AM)-BUT I installed a JVC FM/AM/CD Unit under Dash.-<>-Both Dual Exhaust Replaced from Engine To all the way to the Rear-<>-Engine tune up – runs and starts fine-<>-Transmission shifts fine-<>-The COKER CLASSIC Wide White Wall Tires have about 3500 miles on them.-<>-Front End Alignment True-<>-Starter-Generator-and Windshield Wipers Motor all serviced.-<>-All Lights Work including backup & turn signals-<>- Blower Motor serviced -<>-.I installed 4 Seat belt units.-<>-I replaced the Fuel Pump and saved the one taken off for a spare.-<>-the Fuel Tank is clean. The Fuel Clear glass filter bowl shows clear fuel. Radiator Hoses have been replaced-<>-Speedometer Works fine-<>-Oil Light & Generator Ammeter Works-<>-Dash Lights Work Well-<>-Door Panels in Excellent Condition.-<>- The Horns work fine-<> Real Minimum of rust-<>- Battery in great shape.I will include a spare Starter & Generator. Also The Original Owners Manual + A Shop Service Manual. And, a new set of points, Spark Plugs, and a few other spare items.The Floor Pans and Trunk Floors are solid. The Door Rockers are solid. This Car has a minimum of rust.Has the original bumper jack and has a spare tire on the original Rim. The Body is straight.No cracks in the glass.Please send any questions.
