This is a stunning 1987 Mercedes-Benz W124 300D Turbo diesel with a 3.0L inline 6 engine and a 4 speed automatic transmission. It is in amazing condition, and the interior is very well kept. The previous owners since new had installed a set of sheep seat covers so the drive and passenger seat are literally brand new, the original carpet under the floor mats looks like they have never been touched by shoes ever. It has been repainted, and the paint job was done very well, it shows very well. It was originally a light gold colour and the PO had changed it to the silver. The body is in amazing condition with no dents or dings and no rust what so ever. It was bought new in Illinois and was then brought to Albuquerque in 1990 where it has lived ever since. Even that it does have 213k miles on the odometer it starts every time, and runs great, it drives fantastic as well. The suspension is super tight, the steering is tight, the engine runs strong and pulls hard and the transmission shifts without any issues. It was very well maintained within its life, as the carfax shows which is very clean as well. The tires are decent shape yokohamas. The A/C and heater work great, the A/C was converted to R134a in 2002. All the power windows work, the vacuum door locks work great as well. Only thing that has issues is the sunroof doesn't open evenly. And it has an aftermarket Cd player radio. But all in all a very well kept clean and good looking car that gets great fuel mileage.
