NO RESERVE ABSOLUTE SALE 1939 Plymouth CoupeOriginal car, Restored Powered by Flathead 6-cyl with 3-speed manualRestored brakesThis 1939 Plymouth coupe is an example of how a restoration done correctly WILL withstand the test of time. This car is finished in a medium tan with brown accent panels that bring to life the flowing curves that exemplify 1930’s design. With the Chrome accents adding shape and flare this car is simply stunning The finish on this car is from an older restoration but has clearly been well cared for. It shows only very minor wear and tear issues common for a weekend driven car. The chrome and trim pieces on the exterior fall short of perfect but still remain very nice and present well. The wheels and tires are period correct and are in excellent condition. The interior still in great condition from the previous restoration. The seats show very little use and are the period correct mohair upholstery. The wood grain dash with hand painted trim shows very nicely however there are some interior defects like loose or broken window cranks. The interior does present well but leaves room for minor improvements The engine in this car was rebuilt when the car was restored and now starts and runs with no effort. The engine and the engine bay are in good condition but do show some use. This cars older restoration make it a great car for driving. It is not so perfect that driving it will detract from its value but will make a statement where ever you go. I can not think of a better way to spend a sunday than cursing the back road in this beautiful plymouth Aesthetic Inspection Report: Quality Grade: 3- Preserved Exterior Grade: 4+ Lightly Blemished Paint: 3 - An older repaint. Showing some of it's aged. Body Panels: 3 - A straight body mostly great gaps. Glass: 4 - Most of the glass is great, one or two pains drooped the score. Lights: 4 - Lights appear original. So not so bad. Wheels: 3 - Older nice brown paint, No dents. hubcaps look to be original with a few dents. Tires: 4 - Goodyear biased ply, wide whitewalls. With 80+ percent of tread left. Chrome / Trim: 3 - Good chrome trim. Some of it is showing some age. Weather-strip: 4 - Weather-stripping is showing some age. Interior Grade: 3- Preserved Dash: 3 - Newer repaint. Great wood grain. Cluster: 3 - Gauges show well ,with some ageing. Seats: 2 - Seat is great, period correct material. Doors: 3 - The upholstery looks period correct, but handles look original. Ceiling: 5 - Possibly the original. Floor: 4 - Older carpeting. Mechanical Grade: 3- Preserved Engine Bay: 2 - Looks very good, but done a while back. Transmission: 5 - Leaking. Differential: 4 - Looks ok. Brakes: 3 - No apparent leaks. Suspension Mech: 3 - Showing some age. Structural Grade: 4+ Lightly Blemished Frame: 4 - Looks straight. Floor Pans: 4 - No apparent rust through. Suspension Metal: 4 - Straight, looks good.
