1974 CHEVY PICK UPCustom Deluxe 10 Here is a low mileage original truck with excellent patina.Starts at the drop of a hat, has no hesitation and drives like it did in 1974. I just put 500 miles on it at the Turkey Rod Runin Daytona last month. The heater worked well and sodid the AC as the weather varied that week. The truck is straight with mostly the original paint. Where touched up it wasdone professionally and is not noticeable. And yes the paint inside the bed is also original.The color is called spanish gold & white with saddle interior. The 350 engine has no foreign noises, the trans shifts just fine,no rear end noises, the brakes have many miles left on them. Last week I put brand new BF Goodrich tires on ($749.00). Steers excellent and the wheel is straight. Powersteering and power brakes. Still has the working pollutionpump from the factory on it. The factory AC is cold even whenidling in the summer in Florida. Does not heat up and theanti-freeze is good to 20 degrees below zero. Oil andfilter have been regularly changed and looks clean. Front end completely stable. Stops straight. Slight air noisefrom the pass side vent window at 70. All weather strip is good.Windows roll up and down just fine. Feels good; drives good.Still has the original spiral shocks on it and in good shape. Option plate in the glove compartment still excellent. Someoptions listed are Wood grain, all weather air conditioning,front stabilizer bar, heavy duty brakes, bright metal wheels, painted rear step bumper, soft ray tinted glass, roof drip mldgs.,chromed front bumper, custom vinyl trim, gauges and an AM radio to list a few. Everything works including the radio. Interior is absolutely excellent. The padded dash is perfect.All trim and gauges are excellent. Interior lights and dash lights work. The seat had a cut in it so I had it recoveredin the original material and obviously looks brand newand goes well with the rest of the interior. The truck has its patina with a scratch here, a chip there,a mark here and there, but as stated it has excellent patina. If you want any other pictures let me know as I have many pics of all areas. The undercarriage is really special. It was never undercoatedand so someone could almost wash it with a glove andthen paint it. It does not have any pitting on the underneath parts; there is surface rust from bare parts as would beexpected but never anything more. The exhaust is not newbut is in great shape and has a very good sound to it. This is not a new truck and so has no warranty. I don't thinkthey come any nicer but it would be best if you had itchecked out for yourself. I can jack it up for an inspectorif you hire one or decide to come yourself. This is a number matching engine All this being said please remember it is not perfect.Just way, way above average. A truck that has hadexcellent care all its life.
