I have a 1958 Cadillac Coupe Deville.This car was driven by the Grandfather for almost 30 years and was inherited by the son when his father passed away.The car is a black plate calif. car with the old style pink in the grandfathers name.This is a running car.The engine was supposed to have been rebuilt but I have no receipts to prove that.I see no blue smoke and the engine appears to run well with no knocks or strange noises.The exhaust could be redone and I think the car would sound alot better.The transmission shifts and I have drove it around but the brakes are low and will need to be gone over.The body looks good and the paint is about 30 years old.It has some lifting and paint touchups and you can leave it as is or do a paint job.Thats your call.The interior is also an older restoration and in decent shape and with a redye it would be fine .I had the car detailed and I don't want to oversell anything.All I can say is this is better then buying a non runner with alot of risk. The floors look good and the front crossmember has been all ready repaired..questions call 510 706 3200
