Vehicle Detail

I WANT TO BE CLEAR: I know Jack -S*it about Brit bikes, and Jack just left town. So take a close look at all the pictures. I do not know what is correct, what isnt. With that said, heres the story. I just received this, yesterday as of the time of this writing. My original intentions were to get it going before listing, possibly restore it and keep it. Then I noticed the key is missing (but, seller contacted me yesterday, found it, and is mailing it). THEN (yep, dominoe effect!) we found out one of our kids need braces..... So here it is. Now, the woman I bought it from informed me, her (late) husband just had work done to it 3 years back and it was running, but not touched shortly after due to his illness which sadly took his life. His intentions were to eventually tear it down and do a resto which is why theres an assortment of extra parts , both used, and new nos. Please note the new cables, and misc goodies I am including ! There is no battery, and the battery cover is missing. She informed me, at the time it was worked on, a new front tire was installed (its a Barracuda). There was also clutch work, an oil change (oil is still clean as new), and some electrical work was done or cleaned up. It kicks over great, gears seem to shift fine, brakes work, exhaust is rock solid, rear rim has some heavy rust, front has just some light surface rust in spots. Handlebar chrome is beautiful as well as air cleaner, headlight, front hub cover. The speedometer shows 157 miles but I really doubt thats actual and make no claims that it is. It comes with a free and clear title. With all that said, I have to make the following disclaimer: I am describing this bike going by the information given to me by the widow of the previous owner. I have not started this bike, ridden it, nor do I know much at all about British Bikes. I am selling it as a project (albeit a very cool one!!!!). It is sold as is. You might get it fired right up, or you may wish to strip it completely down and start over. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs. I will hold this bike for no more then 2 weeks. After the 14th day, there will be a $10 per day storage fee. $200 deposit required within 48 hours. Balance due within 5 days and at that time, cash in person is fine. If your having it picked up, then paypal payment due within 5 days. I am easy to deal with, and will do what I can to help. Thank you and please email with any questions. SPECIAL NOTE: IF THIS ITEM IS NOT PAID FOR, I WILL PURSUE THE HIGH BIDDER USING ALL LEGAL MEANS NECCESSARY.IF YOU ARE OVER SEAS, IT IS UP TO YOU TO GET THIS PICKED UP AND GET A SHIPPING QUOTE AHEAD OF TIME. THERE WILL BE EXCUSES FOR NOT PAYING FOR THIS BIKE. FOR USA BIDDERS, MY ROUGH GUESS IS $300-$500 TO GET SHIPPED DEPENDING ON YOUR LOCATION, BUT THATS JUST A GUESS.
