I purchased this 1963 VW Beetle 8 years ago from Florida where I had the engine completely rebuilt and all the gaskets replaced. It is in outstanding shape, and has been meticulously maintained during that time (and started almost daily). The car runs very well and starts on the first turn of the key. I most recently had the brakes completely rebuilt, which are working perfectly. The car looks great and has never run better since I purchased it. I invested money in motor work, new brakes and other miscellaneous items. In all, I have put in another $1900. I wouldn't even sell it, but I need to make room for another car asap The only minor item that needs to be replaced is the gas gauge. I‘ve been shopping for an original, but in the meantime put in a repro. Finally, as a true collectable - all the body/Vin/serial numbers match and engine numbers are all model year correct. This Bug is in excellent condition, fun to drive, solid, tight and drives exceptionally well, and has NO problems significant or otherwise - and NO rust. Looking reasonable offers.
