Now all you purists, we agree with you in advance and please do not message me and ask why someone would modify a 28K mile original Mach 1. The restorer wanted to build a fast car but wanted to start with a car that was rust free and original... So, they started with a pretty original, perfect bodied, rust free car... We understand why not to do this... It is believed this is a lifetime Tampa area, Florida car. Please review the chassis pix below, verifying the 28K miles on this car... It is original, unrestored and immaculate... We have the Marti Report for this car in hand. It was born a Light Pewter Metallic Mach 1 with Black interior. The color was changed to Red on repaint. But the repaint is show quality with proper Mach 1 striping and decals. The interior of the car is all original including seats, door panels, and carpets. Step two in verifying its 28K miles. Excellent original chrome and stainless trim. Equipped with a the original 302 V-8, rebuilt with a bore over and competition cam. New clutch to match with the power of the newly rebuilt engine. Original three speed stick shift. Brand new Magnum wheels and white letter radial tires Garage kept, pampered, and serviced, this car could not be nicer.
