This is a Gorgeous and completely original 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark Cartier Edition with 20,732 Original Miles. The car is 100% rust free and has been in California since new. The engine starts right up and runs extremely well. There are no leaks, smoke, overheating or strange noises. The idle is smooth and the acceleration is superb. The transmission shifts right on time through every gear without any slipping or issues. The brakes, steering and suspension are all in tip top condition and the car is an absolute pleasure to drive. Everything is tight and it feels like your driving a much newer car. All mechanical, electrical and climate control systems operate like they should. Both windows go up and down with ease. The sunroof is HUGE. The air conditioning blows strong cold air and the power windows work perfectly. Cosmetically the car is stunning. Still bearing ALL of it's original paint and body. The car has been very well preserved and garage kept. The finish is lustrous and very attractive. There are of course minor nicks, chips, dings, chips, etc.... The overall appearance is outstanding. The body, chassis and frame are completely solid and rust free. The chrome is gorgeous and shines like new. The car is very crisp and clean throughout. The passenger side turn signal has a small broken piece (see pic). The vinyl roof looks incredible..... The beautiful original two tone leather interior compliments the rest of the car. The leather is free from any tears or significant wear. The car still has that wonderful aroma that it did when it was new. The dash is perfect with no cracking. The headliner, carpeting and door panels are A+++. All interior (overhead/dash) and exterior lights illuminate correctly. Headlight doors open and close perfectly. This is a lovely piece of Americana. She drives like a dream and looks like a million dollars. We hope the next owner/operator will appreciate this car as much as we do.
