I ran into some really tough times about 5 years ago and bought this Van so that I wouldn't end up sleeping on the street and boy it sure came in handy. Throw in your mattress on the back electric fold down Bench and She is real cozy, a little Television built in, a VCR to watch Videos (you can upgrade to digital now if you want) or if you want to take friends and family for a ride just pop the bench seat back up and off you go. I will try to give as much detail as possible without boring you stiff....certainly don't want you turning into a stiff now do we? LOL....OK - First the GREAT NEWS: Although Ruby (as I named her) has matured somewhat by now, she is still rearin' to go another 100 000 miles. The longest trip I took in her was from Nashville to Memphis and back which is about a 425 mile round trip, and she rode like the breeze. A short while ago I put in a Brand New Alternator, and about 3 years ago I put in a new Starter Motor and she has only been started about 20-30 times since then. I also installed a new Battery a few months back. There are no signs of any Oil leaks, the motor always runs beautifully, never had any problems whatsoever with the motor, though a tune up wouldn't hurt. Most of the interior is still in pretty good nick, the wood all looks good throughout, wooden panels, 3 built in mini cupboards for storage, nice custom lighting throughout but there is some wear and tear as any van this age would have. There is also a nice little built in Ice Box in the floor (see pics) and a lockable floor Safe under one of the Swivel seats where you can lock your gun or your papers, cash or whatever (too hidden to get a pic - it is a Safe after all :-). It also has a CB Radio which turns on but I have never used it and there is also a CD player and radio installed. Now these are the only issues that I am aware of: A short time ago, the steering column bearing just beneath the steering wheel came loose. I have done a couple of short trips with it like this so it is your call whether or not you will do the same. I am just way too busy to mess with it but I looked on www dot car-part dot com and there are plenty of inexpensive spare steering columns out there, which even if you pay a guy to fix will not cost more than $300.00 tops. Or if you know what you're doing you can buy the kit from Amazon www dot amazon dot com forward slash Steering-Column-Tilt-Bearing-Rack/dp/B00ADWKEXI and fix it yourself cheap cheap!!! One of the buttons on the handle of one of the side doors came out, but it still locks fine and opens easily if you put your finger through the hole and press ONLY WHEN YOU UNLOCK OF COURSE, you can see this in the pics. There is a patch that tore out about 3" in diameter at the back of the left passenger bucket seat, see the pics for details. The front left Driver Seat upholstery is also in poor shape but I put a cushion on it and ride it like that. There is nothing wrong with the foam underneath, just the fabric is worn out. At one time I was contemplating putting on a nice set of car-seat covers for the entire Van, that's four bucket seats (2 of which are swivel) and the bench seat and the covers for all run at around $70.00. But then I decided that most of the seats are in really good shape and I couldn't justify spending the $70.00 on that. Lets see...what else is there.....oh yes...The spare wheel needs to be repaired and the front left wheel has a very slow leak so I have to pump it every few weeks. But if I was you I would just get another two used tires and put them on the front and the spare or if you can afford to put on new tires all around, please don't let me stop you. The two very small back side windows are not the originals and the replacements have been fixed in place and sealed closed but they are very solid and no water leaks in there. You can get plenty of air in the back through the other back windows right at the back and the sides and there is also the Air Conditioning of course (which also needs a Freon refill for the summer). Heating also works on the van for winter. There is small bit of paint that got scraped off the very top of the roof in just one small area (see pics) but it is hardly noticeable. Other than this, the van comes with the Jack and wheel wrench and I will also throw in the Tow Hitch Ball, the safety stabilizer wheel etc and electrics are all fitted for towing so no problem towing your fifth wheel or a trailer, or boat trailer and with this baby you have got plenty of power to do it. Listen folks, I am giving you very small details which on a 1991 Van means nothing. Basically, get this steering fixed, make sure you've got oil and gas in this van and she will cruise you to where-ever you need to get going to, I am fully confident of that. I am a straight up no nonsense Ebay partner. I have taken the best pics I could with my digital camera. Because of the Steering issue, this Van is being sold as is where is, I can't ship it anywhere or have it towed any where for you folks, I apologize, I am just too swamped and don't have the time of day. There are many sellers on Ebay who are not honest in their listings. I have given you details of anything wrong so that you know exactly what you're dealing with. Just a little bit of your time and a couple hundred bucks to fix a few small problems and you'll have yourself a real nice camper here with low miles for its age, you won't be sorry. The motor in this van has not given me any problems whatsoever. Even after she had not been started for 8 months, I put in a new battery and she started right up first time NO PROBLEM!!!! I am selling this Van WAY BELOW ITS VALUE, I have allowed plenty of room for the buyer to still score a huge bargain EVEN AFTER investing a few extra dollars to bring it up to spec.
