1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, great project car. I purchased this car in June of 1992 (third owner) and at that time the car had just over 65K miles on a rebuilt engine. The odometer stopped working at 66,454 and I continued to drive the car for a few years after that, estimating the mileage to now be around 80K. Since approximately 1996, the car has not been driven. It was in the garage of our last home for eight years and has been covered in our driveway at this house for the last four years. The car needs a new gas tank, battery and the back right wheel un-siezed. The floor boards are in decent condition, solid all the way through, but with some rust underneath the heel portion of the gas pedal and around the floor pan bolts on the driver and passenger sides. The outer layer of the metal on the left rear quarter panel does have a slit. . The body has some minimal rust and the interior needs re-done. This car could be running again with little investment, needs someone who knows VW's. I'll throw in a few extra parts like cal-look window seals and the other windshield wipers, and the rear deck script .
