Vintage 1962 VW BUG / Beetle – ORIGINAL PAINT, INTERIOR, & MOTOR http://youtu.be/mmlkmfIOaOw - Mini Video of the Bug in action! First off, this 1962 VW Bug is simply in amazing ORIGINAL condition. Only approx. 105,000 Original Miles and 3 owners including me. A CALIFORNIA CAR since Day 1 with NO RUST and always garaged. They are getting almost impossible to find nowadays in this condition. It looks great and drives excellent. Yes, certainly a 15-footer and could use a re-paint I suppose, but it’s almost painful to cover the original German paint from 1962. I wouldn’t do it, but that’s for the new owner to decide. BTW - ZERO RUST! Please see the pictures for more details on condition. The car can be delivered up to 50 miles or delivered to local Los Angeles or Long Beach ports for a $250 fee. CALIFORNIA Pink slip is in hand and the tags have just been renewed till 2014. It’s ready for pickup and drive away. Original Paint – Pearl White with several touch ups over all over during the last 50+ years. No accidents EVER – there was a small fender bender by the previous owner (see pics). Undercarriage looks fantastic with no rust or substantial damage. Original Interior – 2-tone Salmon interior color in excellent condition. (Headliner needs a bit of repair) Floor mats and door panels are great. EVEN the original Continental spare tire is included and still in excellent shape. Jack is included. Original Motor & Transmission – Only 105,000 Miles! Oil Changes regularly every 3,000 Miles Original Glass – ALL Glass including the headlight dome glass, side glass and vent wings are original with little to no cloudiness or bubbling. Original Electrical – Still working nicely on 6 Volts. All gauges are correctly (year) stamped. Blinkers, Brakes, Windshield wipers, Horn, etc. all working….Even the TUBE RADIO Works!Orig Key, Paperwork, etc also included... TERMS: This 1962 VW is SOLD in AS-IS Condition. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping. The car is located in Hollywood and is avail for viewing and inspection prior with a 24-hour notice. Buyer is solely responsible for pick up or shipping. Buyer is also responsible for any applicable tax, transfer fees and/or title fees. Smog is not required in CA for a 1962 vehicle. $500 PayPal deposit due within 24hrs of auction end.
