This truck was just traded into a Chevy dealership on a new Silverado. This Tacoma has both clean CarFax and AutoCheck Vehicle History Reports. There has only been 2-owners since brand new in 2002. I have offered and sold 55+ 1995-2004 Tacomas on eBay in the past year. The exterior is in absolutely beautiful condition. The "Radiant Red" paint shines excellent, and really makes the truck stand out. The body is straight and true with no dents, dings, or scratches to mention. It's pretty remarkable how clean it is for the miles. There is absolutely no rust on the truck. The undercarriage is in great shape. The truck has the original frame, which is very, very solid. We have checked it out thoroughly. The rear end is nice and clean. There are no leaks underneath, and the truck is ready for many more years ahead. The interior is in beautiful shape. The seats, dashboard, glass, and headliner are all very clean. The carpets are nice as well, however the drivers side has a wear spot from the last owners heel. There are absolutely no smoke smells, burns, or marks inside. All of the electronics are functioning properly. Everything works as it should. The 3.4L V6 starts instantly and runs great. The transmission shifts smoothly, the clutch grabs strong, and the 4 Wheel Drive works as it should. The truck goes straight down the road with no shakes, rattles, or pulls. There are no exhaust leaks. The brakes stop great with no pulsations as well. When the truck is accelerating or under load there is no rear end noise, however when the truck is decelerating with the clutch out there is a slight rear end whine. When you push the clutch in the noise goes away. The Clutch and master cylinder were replaced at the Toyota dealership at 98,000 miles. The drive belts, thermostat, water pump, and Timing Belt were all replaced at the Toyota dealership as well at 131,000 miles.
