Vehicle Detail
Very rare 1969 Pontiac Gran Prix 428/HO, currently has a 1969 Pontiac GTO engine, also has the factory air level suspension and the rare long branch exhaust headers, power steering, PDB, PW, P-locks, AC, positraction rear end, will sell the car as is or I'll pull out the GTO engine and sell both separately. I purchased the car over 3 years ago from someone in California, I don't know the condition of the engine, car has a lot of surface rust, the trunk floors and interior floors are solid, vehicle will need front bucket seats. Any question please call me a 910-494-7666 or coorvette@hotmail.com Per the original PHS build sheet this car is not a SJ, it has the SJ decals on the fenders and the console, the original owner ordered every item on the SJ option list as a separate item except the 428/370hp engine, he ordered the 428/390hp HO engine instead. On Mar-13-13 at 07:21:58 PDT, seller added the following information: Engine block casting is 9790071, date code near the distributor hole is I048 (September 04, 1968), normal practice for GM to build the early 1969 motors during the later part of 1968, regarding the #48 heads, these heads were installed on the standard 1969 GTO 400s with the manual transmission and the ram air 3 engines, I've gotten alot of calls were people thought they were ram air heads only, basically told them most sellers are saying or using as a sales pitch to get more money for the heads. On Mar-14-13 at 06:13:37 PDT, seller added the following information: All, I have more pictures, pictures of the engine block casting (the raised numbers on the aft right side of the block), pictures of the undercarriage/floor from under the car, I couldn't post the pictures because ebay only allows 24 pictures and I can't change out any of the pictures. email me at coorvette@hotmail.com if you would like to see pictures of the undercarriage.
