Vehicle Detail
PLEASE NOTE: This car does need a valve adjustment. It starts right up, but needs adjustment. It is not ready to just drive off so you will need a trailer or transport upon pick up. Hello. You are viewing a real 1971 Z28 Camaro with protecto plate. This car has been repainted years ago before I owned it and is in it's original Tuxedo black color. Yes this car was originally factory black with white stripes and tan deluxe interior. I have taken a picture of the cowl tag for you to check yourself. 1971 was the first year offered in black on the Z28 model making it a real rare find. I bought this car in 2003 and has been garaged since. I have had a non op on it since 2010. I have decided to part with it since I have become to busy with our business and family life. I do have the original protecto plate and some other additonal information as pictured. Body and interior The body of the car is really straight with a few normal dings as a normal driver usually does and the paint has issues. Their is some chipping on the top, front area and where the driver door opens as well. I have taken photos for you to see. The interior has some components of the deluxe interior such as the dash and console. Interior is in good driver condition. Everything works on the car. The clock was replaced with an oil gauge, but I do have the original clock and radio, which are in very poor condition. All the glass is in good driver condition. Tires and brakes are in good condition with alot of life left in them. Drive train This car has the 10 bolt rear with 3.73 gears and sway bar. The transmission is a TH350. The blocks is a non-matching LT1 350 casting #3970010 suffix code CGR. Standard bore. Correct original harmonic balancer, original water pump pulley, original power steering pump pulley, reproduction harmonic balancer pulley and reproduction alternator pulley. The heads are casting code #3927186 which came off a 1970 Z28. The intake manifold is the original. It has a holley 650cfm carb. This car has a hydraulic lifter cam which is not original. We put the cam, heads and full exhaust on in 2012 and has been parked. Minor adjustments will be needed for this car to be road worthy. This car steers and stops great for a classic. Terms This car is sold as is with no warranties or refunds. It is the buyers responsibility to pick up the car or have a transport pick it up within the time line listed. The car must be picked up within 14 days of closing of auction and must be paid in full within 7 days of end of auction. A $500 non refundable deposit is due thru paypal within 24 hrs of end of auction. Must be paypal verified. I will be more flexible with the pick up time if your an international bidder. If paying with cashiers check the car and the title will not be released until funds are cleared thru the bank. No exceptions. We are also not open to any trades whatsoever so please do not ask. Please also be courtesy and do not ask the reserve until auction close. Thank you and please ask any questions prior to bidding.
