elsinore72s store 1979 Honda CR 250 Elsinore This bike has recently undergone a complete professional restoration. Most metal/ aluminum parts were powder coated. Engine was completely rebuilt including crank and top end bearings and seals. Original silencer has some moderate dents in have not found a perfect one to replace with (will not affect the performance). The expansion chamber has been powder coated to a heat protected coating of semi gloss black. The cylinder has a cast sleeve that has been bored to 70.25mm (.10 over STD) with wisco piston. The engine cases VIN number is 2105081. The left side frame has 2 small dents in will not affect the performance. Has new tires with a test ride on them. The wheels were in very good condition and left original. VMX Shiny plastic kit. This bike is about a 9.8 out of a 10 but it will run 100% as Hondas do . The bike runs as good as it looks. Ready for race, ride or show. The following is a list of new parts that were installed/ replaced. The bike shows water droplets on it because I rinsed off the dust from it sitting in the shop.
